When you love, you would think it wouldn't hurt. We lost our very precious Molly dog this weekend. We loved her dearly and I know she loved us. She even loved her pesky sister, Pippin. So, if we loved her and she loved us, why does it hurt so much now that she is gone? Because, we have all this love to give and she isn't here to receive it. We give as much love to Pippin as we ever did Molly, but this is the love reserved for Molly.
We'll cry a bit and miss her greatly, but as one of our daughter-in-laws said, "I would have rather known her unconditional love and miss her when she's gone, than to have never had that love." Oh how we miss you, Molly. I know you'll be there to greet us when we meet on the other side. Love, momma.

She was always supervising Bob's work!
