Giving is the most selfish thing you can do! What!! You heard me right.
Think about it for a minute. When you give a child a gift...their eyes light up, their smile grows from ear to ear, and maybe you hear a happy squeal. What could be more fulfilling? What could give you more joy? Your heart is full......THAT'S IT!! CAUGHT YOU!! You are being selfish because you received as much joy, if not more than the child, from giving that gift.
Giving doesn't have to be about money, but if you have a little money in your pocket, that hungry person wouldn't mind letting you be selfish by sharing what you have with them. A smile, a gesture, a kind word, opening the door or assisting a mom with several kids to get her groceries in the car. Wow!! You can be selfish all day and it won't cost you much, if anything.
The more we give and be selfish, the more things will come our way to give and be even more selfish. You might find yourself giving so much that the selfishness becomes a habit. What a wonderful habit!! The more you bless others, the more you will be blessed. That sounds like an amazing problem!!
